BEGINNER’S FISHING CLINIC FOR ALL AGES AT FLOYD LAMB PARK

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will be holding a free fishing clinic for all ages, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday March 27 at Floyd Lamb Park, located off of Durango in the northwest part of Las Vegas. The class is for all ages and will cover the basics such as casting skills, identifying the fish, choosing baits and lures, basic knots and much more. It will conclude with putting those new fishing skills to the test. Participants 12 years old and over will be required to have a Nevada fishing license. Registration for the class begins Wednesday March 10, at 8 a.m. For more information and registration, contact Ivy Santee at (702) 486-5127 ext. 3503, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
