The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold a free fly-tying class for anyone interested in learning how to create their own fishing flies. The class will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the NDOW Las Vegas office, 4747 Vegas Drive. This hands-on class will give participants a basic knowledge of the materials, equipment and techniques needed to tie their own flies. Space is limited. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18. For more information and registration contact Ivy Santee at (702) 486-5127, ext. 3503.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW's wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen's license and conservation fees and a Federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
