NDOW TO OFFER INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING CLINIC
The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring a three-day introduction to fly fishing clinic starting on Friday, Aug. 12, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, Aug. 13, and Sunday, Aug. 14, 8 a.m. - noon. This clinic is designed for entry level fly anglers and is free to all participants. The class is limited to the first 15 who sign up. Participants must attend all three days of this clinic.
WHAT: Class is geared for entry level fly anglers. We will cover equipment, knot tying, and demonstrate techniques for fly fishing moving water and still water. Additional information will be on float tube safety and entomology.
WHEN: Friday, Aug. 12, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. - noon
Sunday, Aug. 14, from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Friday: In Verdi at the Verdi Community Library and Wildlife Education Center
270 Bridge Street. (Building is adjacent to the Verdi Elementary School grounds). Saturday and Sunday TBA at the Friday night class.

AGES: Minimum 10 years of age.
BRING: Participants are requested to provide their own tackle. A limited number of rods are available for use by those who do not have their own fishing
equipment. Note: A fishing license is required for those 12 years of age and
older.
