NDOW OFFERS FREE FAMILY FISHING CLINIC
The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring Kids Learn to Fish clinic, July 30, from 8 a.m. to noon. This clinic is designed for children and parents. The Nevada Department of wildlife and volunteers will demonstrate basic fishing techniques. Fishing clinic is free for all participants.
WHAT: Kids Learn to Fish clinic is geared for entry anglers. We will demonstrate basic hook and line setup.
WHEN: Saturday, July 30, 2011, 8 a.m. to Noon p.m.
WHERE: Marilyn's Pond is located just after crossing Galena Creek on the Mt. Rose Highway
SIGN-UPS: Registration is required on line http://ndow.org/learn/classes/fish/western.shtm . For more information call the Department of Wildlife at 688-1559.
AGES: Minimum 3 years of age. An adult must accompany all children.
BRING: You will need your own fishing rod, if you do not have one we can provide one. Twelve and older are required to have a fishing license.
COST: Free
