MEN'S INTRODUCTION TO FLY-FISHING

In honor of Fathers Day, the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) will hold a free Introduction to Fly-fishing class for men Wednesday and Thursday, June 15 and 16 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The two-part class will consist of a class-room session on Wednesday and a hands-on casting session Thursday. All necessary equipment will be provided.

Wednesday's class will take place at the NDOW Las Vegas office, 4747 Vegas Drive (near Decatur Blvd.) and will focus on fly-fishing equipment, terminology, knot tying and other basics. Thursday's casting session will take place at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. For more information and registration contact Ivy Santee at (702) 486-5127 x 3503.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, and promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW's wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen's license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
