NDOW Offers Free Fishing Clinic

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will conduct a free family fishing clinic Saturday, Nov. 3 at Floyd Lamb Park near Durango and Highway 95.

Participants will learn the basics of fishing such as bait and lure selection, casting techniques and knot tying. The clinic will get underway at 9 a.m. at Tule Pond. A Nevada fishing license is required for those who are 12 years of age and older. Registration for this class will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22. Call 702-486-5127 x 3850 to register.
