The Nevada Department of Wildlife will host an “Introduction to Fly Fishing” class Saturday, Dec. 8 at Floyd Lamb Park in Las Vegas. Class participants will learn fly-fishing terminology, knot tying skills, casting techniques and how to select the needed equipment. The class will be held in the old ranch house and is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. There is no fee for the class and all equipment will be provided. Space is limited.
