  • The Maison T Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp is a two-and-a-half-day event near Pyramid Lake that has been designed to give a full outdoor skills training and overnight camping experience. The primary focus is urban and rural children who may not otherwise have many opportunities to experience Nevada’s outdoors and wildlife related activities.

    The Nevada Natural Resource Education Council is a statewide not-for-profit organization whose goal is to develop and promote natural resource education in Nevada.
     
  • Nevada Waterfowl Association
    Nevada Waterfowl Association's mission is to protect, restore and enhance Nevada's wetlands and the wildlife dependent upon them, especially waterfowl and shorebirds. Nevada Waterfowl Association works closely with organizations such as the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Nevada Department of Wildlife, Lahontan Wetlands Coalition, The Nature Conservancy, Ducks Unlimited, and other conservation organizations that share the goal of preserving Nevada's unique desert wetlands for future generations to enjoy.

    Nevada Outdoorsmen in Wheelchairs was started in 2008 in order to provide hunting and outdoor experiences to individuals whose disabilities confine them to a wheelchair.
