Basic Fly Tying Class - Carson Fly Fishing Club

Date: February 8, 11, 14, 17, 22 and 24

Location: Ormsby Room, Carson City Sheriff's Office, 911 E. Musser St., Carson City

Other Information: The purpose of the class is to learn basic techniques of tying different flies. No experience necessary. The flies for this class will be: Green Weenie, Zonker, Chamois Nymph, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, Grey Hackle Yellow, & Goddard Caddis.

Stan has been tying flies for about 25 years. He learned to tie flies while being a member of the Aguabonita Flyfishers, Ridgecrest, CA. This will be the twelfth year that the Carson Fly Fishing Club has presented this class free to the public.
