2011 FISHING & HUNTING LICENSES NOW AVAILABLE

Hunting and fishing licenses for the 2009-10 license year expire Feb. 28, but outdoor enthusiasts don’t have to wait until March to buy their new 2010-11 licenses. They are already available at Nevada Department of Wildlife offices, sporting goods stores and other vendors statewide. They can also be purchased online at www.ndow.org.

Keep in mind, however, that these new licenses are not valid until March 1. Fishing regulations for the new license year are also available at many of the same locations.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and
wildlife, and promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
