INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING CLASS IN LAS VEGAS

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will be holding a free Introduction to Fly Fishing class on Saturday, March 13 starting at 9 a.m. at the Las Vegas office, 4747 Vegas Dr. This class will cover such aspects as terminology, knot tying, choosing equipment, basic casting skills, and much more. The class is done in two parts, with a two hour lecture portion then a break to meet at a local park for the casting portion. Fly fishing rods will be available for those who do not have their own equipment and fishing licenses are not required.
