INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING CLINIC
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) will host a free Introduction to Fly Fishing class Aug. 26 & 27. This two-part class includes a classroom portion in which participants will learn terminology, how to tie basic knots and about equipment selection. This portion of the class will begin at 6 p.m. Aug. 26 at the NDOW Las Vegas office, 4747 Vegas Drive.
During the second portion of the class, participants will receive hands-on training in casting techniques. This will be held at a park nearby the Vegas drive location and will get underway Aug. 27 at 9 a.m. Each portion of the class will last about two hours and is recommended for those who are 12 years of age and over.
