FREE FAMILY FISHING CLINIC

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold a free family fishing clinic Saturday, July 30 at Floyd Lamb Park, which is located near Durango and Highway 95 in the northwestern corner of the Las Vegas Valley.

Volunteer instructors will teach participants the basics of fishing such as how to select baits and lures, casting techniques and knot tying. The clinic, which is open to people of all ages, is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and will take place at Tule pond inside the park. A Nevada fishing license is required for those who are12 years and older. Space is limited so registration is required.
