INTRODUCTION TO BOWFISHING CLASS
The Nevada Department of Wildlife will host an introductory bowfishing course at 9 a.m., July 16 at the Veterans Memorial Park pond in Boulder City. This class is designed for any individual 10 years of age or older who has, minimal to intermediate experience with archery equipment.
Subject matter will include such basics as equipment and function, basic technique, field safety, and understanding water refraction. There will be a 40-minute instruction period followed by a target shooting experience on submerged targets. The class will end at noon and all necessary equipment is provided.
