INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY CLASS
The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold an introductory archery course Wednesday May 25 at the Clark County Shooting Park Education Center, 11357 N. Decatur Blvd. in Las Vegas. Scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., this three-hour class is tailored for any individual who is 10 years of age or older and has little, if any, knowledge of the archery sports.
Participants will learn about the parts of a bow and how they function, basic shooting technique and range safety.
The course is comprised of a 45-minute classroom instruction period and about two hours of hands-on shooting experience. There is no cost and all equipment is provided. Space is limited so registration is required. Registration will begin Monday, May 16 and can be completed by calling Chris Cheff, 702-486-5127 x 3504.
