NDOW TO HOLD INTRODUCTORY RIFLE SHOOTING CLASS
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) will host an introductory rifle shooting class Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Clark County Shooting Range Education Center. Participants will learn the basics of firearms safety as well as shooting fundamentals and range etiquette.
The three-hour class will include a brief classroom discussion and demonstration as well as a live-fire exercise on the Education Center’s 100-yard range where students will have the opportunity to load and shoot .22 caliber rifles. Students also will learn how to properly clean and store firearms.
There is no charge for the class, but seating is limited so reservations are required. Participants less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For information and registration contact Martin Olson at (702) 486-5127 x 3501.
