NDOW SPONSORS BIG GAME TAG APPLICATION
WORKSHOP
Learn about Nevada’s big game tag application process in
plain language at a free informational workshop. Nevada Department
of Wildlife (NDOW) biologists and educators will explain Nevada’s
big game management program and the tag application/draw process
and provide strategies to help you draw a tag. The workshop will
be held Tuesday, March 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at NDOW offices, on 1100
Valley Road in Reno.
The presentation will cover big game management, tag quotas and
allocations, draw odds, harvest data, bonus points, common application
errors and the computerized draw process. Participants will also
learn how to use the NDOW website to find information about everything
from hunting to the number of bonus points an individual has earned.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
No reservations are necessary. Call NDOW at 688-1622 for more information.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and
manages fish and wildlife, promotes fishing, hunting, and boating
safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are
primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees
and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife
and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing,
or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
