Trout Stamp Art Contest
The trout stamp art contest is held each year as a method of obtaining high quality artwork for the stamp. The winning entry will be portrayed in full color on the yearly Nevada Trout Stamp, which is required of all anglers 12 years of age and older who fish for trout on any water in the state. Proceeds from the sale of the stamp support NDOW’s fish hatchery operations.

Entries will be accepted after October 15, 2005, and must be received by Nevada Department of Wildlife by March 3, 2006.Results of the judging will not be announced until mid-April 2006, during the annual Nevada Waterfowl Association "Stillwater Stomp" fund-raiser in Reno. The winning entry and nine runner-ups will be on public display at this function. A list of the top ten finalists will be available from the Nevada Department of Wildlife beginning at 8 a.m., April 3, 2006. Please do not call before that time for results of the judging.
