Dave Weaver harvested this desert bighorn sheep in Unit 163. The sheep scored 165 6/8

Dave Weaver harvested this Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in Unit 101. The sheep scored 166 6/8.

My friend and I were out riding out motorcycles in the NW part of Las Vegas when we stumbled across this heard of 18+ bighorn sheep.

While hunting with Nevada Hunting Services, Rick Gambetta of Hollister, California harvested this 321/2 inch mule deer Thursday, December 16, 2005 in unit 021.

Sean Grinsell, age 4, with his first fish. A 19 incher, caught at Pyramid Lake, December 4. Sean was very excited as you can see. Although with a fish this big it is hard for Dad to get the whole fish in the picture.

Two big stripers caught at Cottonwood on Lake Mohave. The guy on the right with the 47-pounder is Ryan Webb, while the guy on the left with the 42-pounder is Warren Winchester. Both are from Las Vegas, and both were using A.C. Plug Real Trout lures.

I caught a large mouth bass using a banjo lure fishing where the Virgin River meets Lake Mead. Thanks to my friend Marvin who took me there. Jose.
Robert Dahl and his son Shelby Garces had a successful first hunt, both harvesting their very first bucks. Robert harvested a 3x4x 24 inch buck, and Shelby harvested a 3x3x 27.5 inch buck.

This is the picture of my very first buck. I hunted several days during archery, a few days during the muzzleloader, and I finally harvested him on the second to the last day of my rifle hunt in area 065. My dad and my uncle Dee Jay were there with me and both of them can't stop boasting about my buck to all of their friends. I am so thrilled to have taken such a nice animal. Sincerely, Christy Parker age 14

This is my daughter Katie Grinsell with her first Pyramid Lake cutthroat. She was just thrilled. What made it even better for her is that she caught it on a  pink Barbie fishing pole with a pink flatfish. I think that pole may be the only one she uses for a while.

My son Michael Gillette, age 13, harvested this 4 x 4 point buck with a single shot at 288 yards, north of Reno, with the help of Silver Sage Big Game. First tag, first day, first deer. First thing that morning, he made a tough choice and passed up a nice 3 x 4 point buck at about 30 yards just off the road. Later that morning, we spotted this one and spent a good part of the day hunting him on steep terrain. It was a great hunting experience and well earned. My legs were stiff for a week.

Rodney Leininger harvested this cow elk at 320 yards with a 7mm.  The hunt took place near Ely NV (area 231) December 5.  Thank you to Jon for helping Rodney get this beast back to the truck 2 1/2 miles away!!

Brian Reilly, of South Africa, and friends enjoyed a great November day in Southern Nevada chasing Gambel's Quail

Heres the proof- there are still cutts in Walker Lake. This was a day for me to be a guide- That was my excuse for not having caught any fish during the day. Trenton caught his first Walker lake cutthroat on a red and white torpedoe. When prompty to keep his rod tip up, he said, Papa, its too heavy!! My Dad limited out, throwing chartruese and red torpedoes. We fished the point just north of Sand Point on the west side of the lake. There is a nice drop off there that gives you options of fishing shallow or deep. I think if I had my ladder and flyrod I surely would have limited out. The fish were all around 15.5 to 16.25 inches and in very good body condition. I'm excited about going back with a good selection of seal buggers.

Attached is a picture of my bighorn sheep taken opening day, 2005.  The ram was taken in area 267.  In the picture, from left to right, Nick Crosby and Josh Correlli.  We scouted this herd for two months and saw the herd first thing in the morning.  I made two successful shots at 292 yards.  His right horn was broken off (the day before opening day).  My parents, Mark and Joan Crosby helped with the hunt, as well as my wife Leanne, son Austin and friend Rick Chandler.  My son is 4 1/2 months old and went on a Mule deer hunt and a sheep hunt this year!  The indoctrination class was a huge help!

Brett Allen shot this nice typical 4x4 in area 7, with the help of his family (Dad Keith and mom Holly). This buck weighed around 275 pounds. It is Brett’s biggest deer yet.

This picture is of 17 year old Wesley Smith of Fallon NV. This ram was killed in unit 161 and was shot at 400 yards. The ram scored in at 164 4/8. Hunting with Wesley was his father Troy Smith and good friend Carl Erquiaga.

I hunted 7 days in area 182 and with help of Mel Belding I was finally able to harvest this ram on 11/26/2005. It was getting late so I had to leave him on the mountain until the next morning until I could some help from Clint Belding the next morning. The green score is 161 2/8. I want to say thank you to Sean Shea (Great Guide), Marc White, Mr. Mel Belding "Mister Eyes", Mr. Orville Belding, Clint Belding "The Packer", my Mom and Dad, and a special thank you to my wife Michelle for being so understanding and supportive.

This is a picture of my first mule deer taken in area 26 on November 21st,2005. I am very happy and thanks to all my friends, John, Jeremy, Rob,and Chris for all there help and input on how to hunt mulies. Keith A. Ludwick.

Two proud pups and a great day of duck hunting.

Patrick Glennon (in photo) from Las Vegas,  took this bull elk with a muzzle loader in unit 231 on November 23, 2005. Special thanks to Tony Westbay,  Todd and Travis VanOostendorp for all of their help in making this dream become a reality.

Emily Cox, age 9. Emily wasn't about to let her dad and brother have all the fun. She practiced with her .410 and had a great hunt near Gold Butte. 10/29/05

This antelope was harvested on the first day of rifle season 2005 by Aaron Luzier of Reno in area 034. It officially scores 81". It is 16 3/8 tall and has over 7 in. bases.

On November 2, 2005, 12 year old Justin Fanti nailed this big guy from 202 yards with one shot from his 6mm Remington. This was the first time Justin had ever shot a rifle and his aim was true. Justin bagged this buck in area 6 with his dad Corey. Dad is one proud papa!

I caught these two bass in Lorenzi Park on 12/03/05. I used a red 3" senko on a wacky rig.
After 8 years, my dad drew a tag for the late elk hunt in area 111-115, 221,222. Opening day I spotted this bull about a mile away. We made a stalk and a shot. After a long 6 hour tracking job we recovered the fallen trophy. I rough taped him at 385 3/8 b&c nt gross and netted him at 376 b&c. He was missing at least ten inches of antler too so he was a near 400 bull!!! Thanks to Brad and Dane of 7L Outfitters for making this the hunt of a life time.
A great day at Sunset Park, Jose and cousin Don catching monster large mouth bass at Sunset Park.
Nicole Davenport from Carson City, NV harvested this antelope on opening archery day, August 6th, 2005 at 25 yards.  The hunt took place in area 031, North Central Nevada.

The bull elk was taken by my husband, Rich Davenport  (right side in the group picture) with a muzzleloader at 200 yards on November 8th, 2005.  The hunt took place in area 111, East Central Nevada.  The other two guys, Shane Nollsch and Casten Pigman took part in the whole 11 day hunt.
After scouting all summer until the second to the last day of the 1131 deer season, we finally spotted this respectable buck at a 1000 yards away. After carefully stalking him within 350yds. I wasn't going to miss this beauty. I shot this buck with a .243 win. @ 350yds. Many thanks to my dad and good friend, we successfully bagged this respectable buck the 2nd to the last day of the season. A 4 x 3 buck with a 22 1/2" wide out to out, 26 1/2" the greatest spread, anybody would call this buck a beauty! Congratulations to all the successful deer and elk hunters out there!

Last year, in 2004, I was fortunate to have drawn an archery elk tag in Ely and even more so to have taken this unique 9X10 bull that scored 400 3/4 SCI.

Chayne (on the left) harvested this 161 7/8 unofficial desert bighorn shot at 200 yards with his 7mm in the Muddys, Unit 268 with his friend Chris. It was "an awesome second day hunt with lots of miles of hiking and stalking (very tierd and sore) but worth every minute of it!"

A happy 12 year old with his first deer.

This bighorn sheep was harvested in Unit: 205 on 11/15/05 by Shane Glenn. Green Score: 163 3/8. Picture:  From Left to Right; Gary Glenn, Shane Glenn, Chris Jasmine, Rod Hardesty. Thanks guys for all your help!!!

A 3 1/2 lb rainbow caught from a boat on Comins Lake on October 22. We caught and released trout all day long on all different kinds of spinners and caught small pike also.

Tyler Hegg, Walker Lake, cutthroat trout.

Here is a picture of my 12 year old son Austin with his first mule deer. Austin took the mulie with a clean one shot kill at 80 yds. on the last day of the season in area 10. The 28 inch 4x4 has a third antler with 3 points on the left side. What a happy kid! (and father)!

Some striper caught on Lake Mead.

My girlfriend & I caught these beautiful rainbows Nov. 8, 2005 at Eagle Valley Resevoir off of Copper Point. They ranged from 15"-16.5". All were caught within 2 hours. It was her first time fishing!!! I will not divulge my secret on how to land these!!!

Brandon Pierce (age 12), with his first tag, took his first buck in the Ruby Mountainson November 5, 2005.

In March of 2004 I submitted a picture of eleven-year-old Jennifer Gorton's 26" Pyramid Lake cut. It was the biggest fish she'd ever caught on a fly rod. It was priceless. November 11, 2005, she had another priceless moment. Jennifer, now 13, with her first deer tag was after her first buck. After watching does all morning, about 8:00 a.m. I spotted the first buck. When I put him in the scope, I let Jenny take a look and she immediately said, "I want him!" After a two hour sneak, she took "the first buck she saw" on the first shot. Proud Papa!

My husband John Jones harvested this buck in Pershing County.  He scored 174 gross and 169 net.

My husband, Mark Torneskog of Indian Spirings, shot this buck at 100 yards on Nov. 6, 2005 while hunting with our nephew and scout Michael Chuskia in a "secret location." The buck measured 24 inches. "Thanks Mikey, see ya next year same spot."

This buck was taken on Nov. 5, 2005 in area # 195 by Pete Schuster.

Five year old Kyler Cavin shows off his dad’s Sage Grouse during a long morning walk in central Nevada (October 2005).

Allan Barrail shot this bull elk in the Jarbidge area on Oct 5, 2005 while hunting with my brother-in -law Ted Fisher. The elk green scores around 360 points. "We saw a few elk and tried to harvest one that was even bigger but it was a little challenging to get close enough for an Iron site muzzloader shot Awsome hunt and a great way to start off the season."

Ryan (right) harvested this buck in 2005 out of Area 17 on the last weekend. It was the only buck that he saw all season. "Thanks - I wouldn't have been able to do it with out my best hunting buddy Marty Austin. Thanks, again. You're the best!"

This bull was harvested in area 61 on 10/30/2005 by Jon Thomas of Reno.

This buck was taken by my son Sean (14 yrs) in the East Humbolts on the 9th of October '05. His fist mule deer. He wanted to take his bow as he didn't get to hunt the archery season. Dad told him that it would be tuff as the deer had been through the archery season, muzzle loader season and now it was the second week of the rifle season. We found the buck bedded in the mahogany's and stalked him from above like archery hunting and got within twenty yards of him. We sat for thirty minutes waiting for him to stand and give Sean the shot. When he stood Sean dropped him with one shot from his .243. John Septien

Al Grinsell with a nice buck taken in Area 7 on Halloween 2005.

James "Bubba" Robertson lll. 16yrs of Pahrump. Hunting Unit #162. October 29, 2005.

Chris caught a very nice striper that early morning using live shad at Hemmingway Harbor.

Who says shore fishing isn't doing too well?  Week after week, the fishing reports say that the boaters are having all the luck, if any.  Not here!
I don't want to give away the spot, of course, but she was the largest of many, caught in Boulder Basin.  She measured a little under 2 1/2 ft long and weighed in at 9lbs.

Ben Linch with son Chase and father Ray 2005 Jarbidge Elk hunt.

This 4x4 buck was taken in October, 2005 in area 13 by Bob Locascio. He could not have done it without the able assistance and spotting by his friends, Mark Bower and Lou Lombardo.

Brandon Christiansen took this nice buck on October 23rd, in area 013.  It green scored at 172 6/8.

My son Dustin took this cow elk in area 7. Dad and son got to witness two bulls and two cows fighting amongst the herd.

My friend S-Bob and I went to Comins Lake to do a little flyfishing from our float-tubes.  This was the weekend of Oct. 14 -16.  The first day we each caught (and released) six fish with the largest one weighing in at about three pounds.  The second day we were blown off the water after catching two fish and headed up to Cave Lake.  There we caught (and released) so many small browns and rainbows we lost count.  The last day we fish Comins the wind was calm and we landed nine fish each.  The largest fish was caught on a homemade fly called the Christmas Tree-Starfish.   Dan   AKA-Squarepants
Clayton Larsen is enjoying the 2005 hunting season with a succesful spring turkey hunt in Churchill County and a 27" 4x4 taken in Pershing County.

Blaine Clements, 14, shot this 5x5 28" deer at 290 yards with a 243 in the Granite Range of northern Washoe County. This was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for the youth tag system. Charlie Clements - proud father. PS. We scouted some 8 times, this is just one of 17 bucks that we scouted that he set his goals on.

Cody Simper, age 14, shot the 3 pt. around Seigel Creek, Ely area.
Dad harvested this buck in south-central Nevada with a nice shot from his Browning 270.  We evaluated several bucks in the unit before deciding on this one.  What a great buck.

Memories? PRICLESS !!!!!!!!!

After four days of hard hunting (several missed shots and "a hundred" miles later - ha ha!) my son Clayton connected with his second and largest buch to date, a tall, heavy 4x4 at 200 yards. The kids and I talked it over and decided that as hard as we had all worked, it would be our buck. With the last morning of our hunt upon us, we decided to check the same spot one more time. With the "lucky" (I wasn't so sure after four days with 0 deer and 30 chukar hunters in the area!) carved deer rock in hand, my daughter connected with this beautiful long-tined 3x3. Not the big boy she was chasing, but I guess that's what keeps us all going....Memories! I love you guys, thanks for the hunt!

Toni Gibbs took this four point out of area 062.

Brent Bonner harvested this 3x2 buck from Rose Valley in unit 231. Hunting partners included Randy Pectol and Jimmy Karr.
These snowcocks were taken on Oct. 1, 2005 in Lamoille Canyon of the Ruby Mountains. The people in the first picture are Mark Arana (Salt Lake City), Bryant Kuechle, Eliot Bailey and Joel Glaisyer of Boise, Idaho. The second is of Mark Arana - Salt Lake City, Utah.

Christopher Cox, age 9, hunting at Overton WMA. All that practice with his .20 Gauge paid off while hunting with his Dad.  12 - 7- 04.

Here is my wife, Sharry Frascarelli, with a 3 pound rainbow trout caught at Ruby Lake NWR over the Labor Day weekend. She caught the fish on a #12 brassie and had a great time. We saw quite a few trout in the ditch system but they were easily spooked. There is also a picture of me with a 4 pound rainbow also caught on a brassie.
Flyfishing and hunting all in one area! Doug Hunt's dogs enjoyed success during their first chukar hunt ever at the Pine Forest Complex in Humboldt County. This beautiful 12 inch brook trout was caught in a stream in the area druing the same trip.

This deer was taken by Rob Oakden on 10/08/05, opening morning, at 8:30.

Stacey Leone took this buck in Unit 011-013 on October 8, 2005. It was her first buck which measured 26 inches. Her father-in-law missed this buck during archery season...thanks for missing father-in-law!
Billy Chapman, a recently retired school principal and longtime resident of Clark County, NV displays this seven pound catfish caught at Floyd Lamb State Park in August, 2005. When the fish was placed on a pin-type stringer, it made a violent jerk and broke free. Before it could swim off, I jumped into the pond, slipping, falling, and scratching my left leg on the concrete. But, I managed to grab the fish and fling it far back onto the shore! Someone fishing nearby saw the commotion and named it "The Fish That Was Caught Twice".

Marianne Bethard took this cow at 06:30 am on Oct. 4, 2005 in Unit 111 near Ely.  "A light snow had fallen during the night, which made it easy to spot the elk walking up the hill approximately 250 yards away from me.

I'm so proud of my shot!!  It was a nice clean kill, and a memory I will not soon forget.  I believe she's in the 350-400 pound range field dressed out.

It was definitely a girl's weekend as my friend Debbie and I were the only two people in camp to have an elk tag for this past weekend, and she harvested her cow on Saturday morning."

This is the story of my Grandson's first trout.   Liberty Pond in Fallon has been a true gift for those of us who dearly wish to pass along the fine tradition of soaking a worm with our children and our children's children.

We fished for an hour and a half.  I caught the first trout on a seal bugger and let Trenton reel it in.

He was only moderately impressed and told me as I put the fish on my fancy new stringer,  "Papa- now we will catch a fish on my pole."   And, a very short while later, Trent's bobber took a serious dive which told me we weren't messing with a puny Bluegill.  I hailed to Trenton-"You've got a fish."

The moment couldn't have been grander if we had just hooked up to a Marlin in the deep blue sea.  Trenton grabbed his rod and began cranking.  It wasn't pretty and it was a good thing that that fine fat trout had swallowed that worm clear up to his caudal fin.  Once the fish was sighted, the 3 year old angler threw down the rod and grabbed the line on the end of his rod to hand haul the fish out of the water.  He was placed on the deluxe stringer along with the fish caught on the fly.

This is where it gets good.  Trenton compares the two fish and makes the not-so-gentle observation that his fish is bigger than mine.  At that point in the evening, I didn't think it could get any better for young Trenton who had just out-fished his Papa.  It was time to head for the playground and go down the slides holding the better man of the day in my lap.
This deer was taken by Jon Sieben on Sept. 18, 2005 at 100 yards in Unit 033. This
4x4 is his first muzzleloader buck. Hunting with him were John Sullivan, John Sullivan and Todd Matorian. Thanks for a great hunt guys!

I shot this cow at 90 yards with my .50 caliber muzzleloader in Unit 111 on Sept. 24, 2005.  My dad and I hunted for 6 days and saw over 100 elk before finally getting a nice stock on this big cow!! My first elk and first big game with a muzzle loader!!
Scott Berge stops a to show his limit of snowcock on opening day in the Ruby Mountains. Where do the snowcock live? The second photo gives a great overview of snowcock country in the Rubies.

Mitch Fifield caught this beautiful 6 lb / 24 " bowcutt at Knott Creek Reservoir on September 24, 2005
Mitch and his three friends show off their catch from Know Creek Reservoir. In order left to right, Mitch Fifield, Don Sexton (Winnemucca), Brett Wright (Round Mountain), and Mark James (Winnemucca).  All fish were between 5 and 6 lbs.

"I arrowed this buck at 15 yards on 08-31-2005 in the Sheldon NWR after 4 days of hard hunting.  It was my first archery mule deer harvest!      He green scored 160" and was 26" wide.  I dropped him off at the taxidermist and can't wait to hang him in my trophy room" Photo of Darrin Rice taken by photographer and hunting partner Eric Wagner.

Hunter Smit took this pronghorn in 2005 while hunting with his family in Area 31, just south of Denio.

Attached is a picture of a fish I landed on Sunday, 23.5 by 12.5inch rainbow , made my whole year. Fishing the Truckee is kind of like driving down the street and magically ending up in Montana.

Sherry Hornbarger took this ram in area 205 in November of 2004 at 417 yards after 11 days of hunting. It was her first big game animal. She was accompanied that day by her husband Michael and friends Kent Arrien and Glenn Gonzalez.

This antelope was taken by Todd Matorian 8/30/05. It scores right around 79. A thanks to Merv Matorian, Jon Sieben and John Sullivan for a great hunt.
Andy P's pronghorn antelope from the 2005 early rifle hunt. The buck roughly scored in the range of 79 to 80.
Samantha Mellison, 18 months, is decked out in her dad's fishing vest and is all ready to start fishing. Later, she shows her dad a thing or two about tying flies.
These photos were taken in Unit 115, by Rob Ewing, Park Ranger - Backcountry Operations Dept. of The Interior National Park Service Great Basin National Park.
Shaun Gilbert shot this bull during archery season 2005
This bull elk was taken by Jason Bull and friend David Kimball during an unguided archery bull elk hunt in Unit 111. They hunted nine days and did a spot and stalk. Bull arrowed the elk (his first taken), at 30 yards on his bed.
I caught this little gem on a 1/16th white roostertail silver blade...trying to imitate those white mayflys in the morning.  This was around 10am 9/14/05 just below Idlewild Park by the big rock.  It was deep there and shaded.  I have noticed all the fish are going to shaded areas this time of the day and year.  It had green moss and crustaeations [nyphs and bugs] inside.
4lb test; fish weight: roughly 4.0+ lbs; length 25-26 inches; Notice the rainbow markings and the orange
cut on it's lower jaw....gotta be a Native Cutt-Bow.

Look at me!
M
y first large mouth bass ever, thanks to my mom, Colena, and dad, Jose, who helped me catch it ! This was Nathaniel's first time using his own pole and learning the basics. Second photo: Nathaniel and Jose having a father and son lesson on how to cast. Nathaniel caught his first fish, a large mouth bass no bigger than his lure, but he had lots of fun !

My son Dawson, 3, at Floyd Lamb State Park.

Lifelong Fishing Buddies
My seven year old daughter Madisen hooked onto this 'lunker" at Floyd Lamb State Park on March 21, 2005, and as you can see, she was very proud. I had set up her pole and handed it to her while I hooked up her older sister Tiana's pole when not ten minutes later the fight was on. Tiana didn't land a fish that day, but on her own and without guidance, learned to mold powerbait on a hook all by herself. Dad now has two lifelong fishing 'buddies."
Ten year old Brennan Bartorelli of Sparks caught this 10 pound Lahontan cutthroat trout while fishing Pyramid Lake December 24th 2004 with his dad Mitch and his grandfather Duane.  Pictured are Brennan and his Grandfather Duane Heiny of Carson City.

This picture of Nicolina was taken July 14, 2005. The brown trout pictured was caught in the Truckee River near Verdi on a nightcrawler and weighed in at 5 and a half pounds.

Ryan Sloan displays the bobcat he trapped near Diversion Dam in late Ocotober with his dad.

Left photo: My husband John's deer from 2003. Right photo: Amy Boykin with deer harvested from 021 in December 2004. "It was my first nice buck (last one was a forky) and second buck tag. We packed in with horses and camped in the snow, which we like to do on the late hunts. A lot of people think we're crazy, but my husband & I always see big deer that way. The deer scores 144, but to me he is a trophy! I shot him right out of camp (maybe 100 yards from it, tops), and got him opening morning. "

The fish were out of a reservior in Elko county (not wildhorse); the big one was 5.5 lbs and the smaller one was 2.5 lbs. Both fish were caught in January just before the lake iced over.

"I called this boy out of the cedars south of Indian Springs in April of 2005," said Keith Packer of Las Vegas. "This was my first coyote I've called in. Shot at about 80 yards."

Ben Brock [right] of Spring Creek enjoyed some morning chukar hunting with freind Pyke Bowles and young pup in training, Belle.

These photos were taken by my husband Chris Valdez on March 6, 2005 at Wildhorse Reservoir. It was a great day ice fishing for all of us but especially for me and my son. The first photo is of Christopher Valdez who is 9 years old, and his fish was about 2lbs. It was so neat to see my son pull that big fish out of a ice hole with a little ice fishing pole. He was very excited .The second picture is of Cathy Valdez with two nice rainbow trout the biggest trout weighed about 3 1/2lbs. and the smaller trout was about 2lbs. We also caught an additional 84 perch that day. The fishing was great and we all had a great time.

My son Aaron Locke catching his first Cave Lake rainbow.

Chris Faiman harvested this buck in 2002.

My husband, Ritch Golden and his striped bass catch of the day taken in early March, 2005 at Lake Mead. The second photo is of our 6 year old grandson, Kyle Cook and his first striped bass catch of the day taken March 22, 2005, one day before his 6th birthday.

This beautiful ram was taken in unit 163 by Jeff Smith of Fallon, NV. Pictured from left to right are Dan Clifford, Jeff Smith, RJ Clifford, and Carl Erquiaga. We had a great hunt.

This is my 3 year old daughter Ryen who had great success on her first fishing outing with her father on Father’s Day 2005. These two beautiful rainbow trout were pulled out of Virginia Lake in Reno. She wasn’t much interested in posing with the fish at the lake but once we got them home, she was pretty proud of them. As you can see in the second picture, she was hard at work trying to fish! She wanted to share these pictures to thank her Grandpa for smiling down from heaven to make sure her first fishing trip was great!

I took my son out to Lake Mead Saturday morning, trying to get into some stripers. We rented a boat at Lake Mead Resort and fished up and down that side of Lake Mead most of the morning. We were mostly sight fishing in the shallow coves near 33 Hole with poppers. Throughout the morning we saw several other boats, and none of them had caught a thing. Had a few fish surface to see the poppers, none too aggressively until a largemouth bass exploded out of some weeds on a Bleeding Shad Popper. I am attaching the picture of my sons first largemouth bass, taken at around 11am, south of Hole 33. Rob Hagemann

Cousins Don, Ricardo, and Neto had a good day fishing at Sunset Park in Las Vegas.
We camped and fished at Illipah reservoir on Memorial weekend. We caught and released quite a few fish this weekend, but we kept a few as well, including this 15 1/2" rainbow that my 7 year old daughter, Alyssa, caught and this 11" rainbow that my 2 year old son, Brandon, helped me reel in. It was his first attempt at any type of fishing.

My family and I went on our weekly fishing trip to Hemenway, Lake Mead this Sunday (5/29/05) where it was quite windy. Twenty seconds after casting into our secret spot, I get the biggest bite in months. After a couple minutes, I pull in the 12 lb. 2 1/2 foot Striper and my mom snaps a few pics. Our dog Cocoa is behind me cooling off. All that wind and it was still a good day. It just gets better from here...

My hunting buddy, Cliff Raymond, harvested this buck in August 2003. I spotted it and bedded it and Cliff made a great stalk on it while I guided him with hand signals. The buck was killed in central Nevada and is 29.5" wide.
