A smallie I landed in Callville in March off the red reef near the east end of the bay, northwest of the island. I ended up getting my limit with only one largemouth before I went sight fishing to cull. I have also included another one of Jim another member of the Las Vegas Bass Club with one he pulled from Mohave in April. - Jason Sorrell 7 year old Aleena Dudley and her cousin 8 year old Zach Wrenfrow with 22 inch 3 LB. trout they caught & netted as a team at south fork res.
Our 10 year old son Johnny Martinez Jr. caught this 22" 6.5 lb Rainbow Trout Fish out of South Fork Reservoir. What a catch!! And what a fun and exciting day! Needless to say, Johnny now loves fishing, and wants to go every chance we get.

My son and I and a friend fished the opener at Knott Creek last weekend, dispite all the rain. We had a good time and caught quite a few rainbows and tiger trout. Last year all the tigers we caught were rather dull in color but this tme some were very vibrant in color, like maybe a male in its spawning colors. I've attached a photo of one. - Greg Dimsha

I took this antelope opening morning 2008 in area 113 at 35 yards. My husband, Larry, was with me all the way (he wasn't lucky enough to get a tag). This was my first antelope tag and I couldn't believe my luck. - Sue Berfield

Jeff H., Nick H., Cody J. and I took a ride in 015 to check out some water holes. Went riding by this pond and found an old 2008 blind in the water. We retrieved all but the one rebar. None of us wonted to swim for it. - Don Judd

Here’s a picture of my youngest son Devin Cardenas age 5, holding his limit from Floyd Lamb park. I took him before he had to be at school at 1 p.m.. We got there about 10 a.m. and within 45 minutes had his limit. He was so excited to reel those fish in, even though two others got off the hook. -Dom Cardenas I took this deer with Cary Jellison of gandj outdoors in the 2008 season. It’s the biggest deer of my life and Cary is a great guide. The deer measures 31`` wide and we scored him at 175``. It was a hunt of a life time, I owe this success to Cary. I took this deer with Cary Jellison of gandj outdoors in the 2008 season. It’s the biggest deer of my life and Cary is a great guide. The deer measures 31`` wide and we scored him at 175``. Hayden Daniels age 6 at the Boulder City pond - Bill Daniels Susan Rogers got this buck in area 114 during a snow storm. It pays not to sit in camp. These are some pics from last year’s hunts. Big Jerry Butler was lucky enough to draw both antelope in the Lenard Creek area and deer (as party) in the Jarbidge area. Both hunts were fantastic, although short. Less than one day for Big Jerry to bag the antelope. For all three of us to get our deer in the Jarbidge area only required 4 days, 1 day scouting and the next day was Jerrys, the next day was Rick Chambers’s deer, ant the 4th day Big Jerry got his nice bucks. The big game season last year could not have been any better. - Jerry Butler
This is T.J. Ayers first buck. One shot at 270 yards. Taken on the 12th of OCT 2008 in unit 162. He waited for over two and one half hours for the buck to stand up so he could have a shot. - Connie Ayers Ben Crawford from Las Vegas, on Sunday Feb. 1, 2009 the last day of the youth hunt Ben and his dad watch as about ten geese came into Ben's decoys, when he was done unloading his gun (3 shots) there were three dead geese in front of him. A few photos from the fishing derby at City View Park in N. Las Vegas on March 7, 2009. I am the volunteer that was teaching kids to cast, there was a quiet time while the fishing was going good so Ronald Mc Donald came over to try and get more kids to try the backyard bass casting. My wife Shelly took the photos while I was helping the kids. The day was great and some of the kids that had never fished or ever held a rod were taught how to cast, and I was told at least one caught some fish it was a really fun time. - Joe Manas

John Bellomo jr., of Las Vegas caught this hefty rainbow trout during the middle of the day with his own mixture of various PowerBaits. March 1, 2009 This is my nephew Kyle Gilbert at Sand Hill Lakes this last Christmas With his grandma behind him also ice fishing a Nevada tradition. The Rainbow was over 10 pounds. -Shaun Gilbert This awesone 2x2, 21 ½ spread buck was taken by Cody Boone, 16-years-old from Carson City on November 26, 2008 in Unit #203. I caught a 4 pound trout 21.5 inch from Masson valley Hinkson slough 2-27-09. Using a Panther Martin #6 all black red dot west side. We also caught a bunch of 12” trout as well and threw them back. -Dewayne Braden
I caught this 31.5" walleye at Lahontan last fall. But due to the extreme low water condition (that's the top of the dam in the background) we had last year it only weighed 10 lbs. The fish was in very poor condition and I was not able to successfully release it. I live in Smith Valley. I was headed out for a walk and this guy or girl was in one of our pine trees. I don't think he is endangered but he sure is scarce. We have a lot of regular owls and screech owls. -Connie P. Helm

I caught this 26 inch carp at Lorenzi Park Feb. 4, 2009 around 10 a.m. when fishing for trout. Microlite rod 4 pound test line number 6 trout hook and yellow plastic worm. Pretty excited took pictures and tape measure. Then quickly released back to the pond. Did wanted to killed. No weight was obtained. Two unknown witnesses kind enought to take my picture. Hi there, my son, Brent Thomason took his first ever Antelope and this very unique buck in unit 142 after passing on approximately seventy five other bucks. We named him jester... The other pic was taken minutes before he settled on this one. He and Jay, my son-in-law hiked more than two miles in steep terrain from the valley floor in 100+ degrees to make the final stock and a 370 yard shot accross the canyon. The Campbell’s are from the Laytonville, California area and have been putting in for years in Nevada. This is my son Colt on his first Nevada Duck hunt. After passing up quite a few deer looking for “the big one”, 13 year old Justin Pete was thankful to take this deer while hunting in Area 7 during the 2008 season. - Wesley Pete Megan Gardner, age 15, shows off her cow elk taken in area 072 during the 2008 rifle hunt. Here is a photo of the Nelson (desert) bighorn I was fortunate to take on 11/17/08 in unit 183. My first ever sheep Hunt. Also many thanks to friend Lou Ferrante for his help on this hunt. - Mike Maciosek Kenny Peterson's 2008 desert sheep hunt, unit 253. From left to right: Peterson, Val Nance, Neil Peterson and John Powrie. Alex and Jordan Bridgman were lucky enough to find two bucks together on the second to last day of the season in Area 212. The impressive 4x4 on the left is Alex's 3rd deer and the fork on the right is Jordan's first.
Terry Bradshaw of Henderson,NV shot this ram 11/ 16/ 2008 with buddy Chuck Yeager. David kirkwood waited 10 years to draw a Bull Elk Tag in Nevada and found out this is the only way to pack out off of Black Mountain with his 6x6 Bull. He reports he could not have done it with out the much appreciated help from his buddies Josh and Bob.

This Antelope was taken by Pete Schuster in area 011 on the opener day Aug. 22, 2008. Clayton Larsen of Fallon with his 2008 Buck taken in unit 173. Dennis Davids and Robert Garrison took these two mule deer bucks at 102 yards at the same time in area 18 during the 2008 muzzleloader season.

Nevada gentleman hunt…..Turkey on Friday with Coyote on Saturday, experiencing the hunt with your son, Perfect. - Lee Browne 13-year-old Breanan Enox of Mason Valley took this 6x4 buck in area 203 with her 20 gauge shot gun.
Ronnie Jordan and 4-year-old Jordy Terral-Jordan teamed up at Pyramid on 5/8/08 to nab this 9 lb, 9oz male (left) and a smaller 5 lb, 2 oz female. Allen Ramsey caught this 28” Rainbow in October 2007 at Knott Creek Reservoir. On its first run the fish jumped 3 times and peeled off all of the fly line and 50 feet of backing. It was released.

Aaron Luzier and Dave Rials arrowed some monster carp on the Truckee River. Dave's fish is 37 inches long and 35 pounds while Aaron's fish is 40 inches long and close to 40 pounds. We had a great day for chukars in the Battle Mountain area in 2007. This was my dog, Thunder’s, first trip. From left to right: Dan Patten, Thunder, my brother Marty, and friend Gil.
After 15 days of hunting Amy Lawry was able to harvest this nice ram in unit 263 on the last day of the 2007 season. Here is a picture of Kevin, Tasi and Boy. We caught these cats on saturday at Sunset Park, June 22, 2008. Great morning at Sunset Park. Myself, my son (Danny) and my father (not in picture). This deer was taken by Shawn Salmonson in the Santa Rosas. The official score on the deer was 172 2/8. Carl Simon caught this four-pound Large Mouth Bass at Bowman Reservoir in Nov 2007. Rusty Ruby caught and released this hefty striper on the Colorado River.
My Son Sammy (5 years old) caught this 6lb large mouth by himself at Bowman reservoir.

After 10 Days of hunting with our 3 year old son Brock, Katie Eastman was finally able to harvest this hard horned buck with her bow near Ely in 2007. What an adventure that was!! Pete Leonard, on his first antelope hunt, scored with this fine buck taken in area 32 on Aug 26, 2007. It ended up with a B & C score of 80 2/8's. - Photo taken by Pete's father-in-law and guide Joe Hawley of Carson City. I harvested my first Nevada deer on December 30, 2007. This was a late season hunt in Unit 021 on the Peterson Range North of Reno. He may not be the biggest deer on the mountain, but he is a good one.
Phil Walker harvested this ram in Stillwater in November 2007. My name is Mike Ivy, from Henderson, NV and I harvested this 6x6 in Area 111 on 11-7-07 with the help from my good friend Stanley. Case Kelly and Jacob Stone (both 12 years old) on a late season duck hunt in Churchill County. Jacob Benke caught this 31 pound striper around B-4 on February 7th. I caught this 8 lbs 3 oz. cutthroat trout during the pyramid lake fishing derby. - Pete Schuster

This heavy horned buck was taken in the Egan Range in area 22 by Justin Baker. Dean Bacon caught this 25 pound striper at PWC beach December 19, 2007.
This is Bill McBeath with his 5x6 buck he shot in Unit 22. It scored 185 BC. Mike McBeath harvested this bull elk in Unit 22. Look what I caught on the Truckee River! It took 20 minutes of pure excitement to land this fish, which I released after taking a few photos. - Robert Sabo
