Brandon Fordin from Elko, Nevada took this bull elk in September 2007. It is a 7X7 and scores 410. Reno resident Tyson Wright (15-years-old) shot this 28" fork in Unit 11-13. Deer was taken with a muzzle loader at about 135 yards.
Here is Keegan Vetter (left) and his sister Isanne with their cousin Dean Vetter and their dog Aitor after a successful quail hunt their aunt and uncle's ranch in Denio. I harvested this 28''wide buck in the Ruby Mountains on 9-13-07 with a muzzleloader at 210 yards.
Jessica Berge killed this heavy horned antelope on opening day in Area 021 near the Moonrocks. It took 13 years for Larry Dean to draw an Archery Elk Tag near Ely, but after 19 days of hunting he took this 340 P&Y 6 X 6 at 35 yards. Photo by pal John Martin.

This is my 4-year-old daughter, Savannah Johnson who caught her first fish on Labor Day Weekend 2007 at Cave Lake in Ely, Nv. - Kirk Johnson I caught this brown trout on the Truckee river on Sept 26,2007. It measured 27'' and wieghed 8 pounds. - Don Lorenzetti

Randy and Kristen Hegg pulled in this 6.5 pound rainbow after only 15 minutes of trolling at South Fork Reservoir over the weekend. Pyke Bowles with a 20 inch 3 X 3 taken with a Ruger Blackhawk pistol in .357 magnum from 20 yards in Area 7.
I caught this 29-inch carp after taking a fly-fishing for carp class from Mike Sevon in July of 07. He took a grasshopper dry fly and gave me a hell of a fight on July 27 in Likes Lake. - Mike Phillips Zack, almost 3, and Benjamin, 3, enjoying Marilyn’s Pond on Sunday, September 23rd. Zack’s first time fishing, didn’t catch anything, but can’t wait to go again!
Here is a picture of my first ever Pronghorn I took on the Sheldon NWR August 24, 2007. Bruce Silat struggles to hold up a 42-inch striper he caught at Lake Mojave. This monster weighed in at 41.46 pounds. 5-year-old Dominic Lombardo pulled in this rainbow trout at Illipah on June 9, 2007.
Mel Librada pulled in this big carp at Mason Valley WMA June 3, 2007. Jose and Nathaniel at Sunset Park.We had a great time. Nathaniel tried to fish that day but he actually had more fun feeding the ducks!
Jerald Swenson harvested this buck September 13 in Area 231. Ivan Fimbres with hunting partners Jimmy Nelson and Norman Ueland and his 2007 Antelope.
These pictures were taken on a scouting trip south of Austin by Ernie Thompson.
Two B&C's in three days. The Ram was harvested on September 1st and green scores 186 & 6/8. The goat was harvested on September 3rd and green scores 53 & 1/8. This was all made possible by Nevada High Desert Outfitters, Secret Pass Outfitters and my friend Casey Jones. - Don Dees

Rick Rodgers harvested his first Antelope in Area 6 opening morning with his son Justin Rodgers and grandson Roryn Rodgers.  The unofficial measurements completed by the taxidermist totaled 77 7/8. 

Paul Glavish pulled in these two catfish August 4 from Paradise Pond. The big fella measured 24 inches and weighed in at 7 lbs. Picture submitted by Lisa Glavish.
We were able to get my antelope on opening day this year in Area 68. After that, we decided to go to Wildhorse Reservoir. Take a look at my 7 ½ pound rainbow. We caught our limit in one afternoon fishing. - Randy Hegg
Michael Older pulled in these trout on June 15, but he refused to give out the location. His only clue is that a 15-pound striper chased one of his trout all the way in. This 26-inch 4 pt. buck was shot by Richard Elwell with help from his hunting partner Mike Romero in area 22 in October 2006.

My name is Randy Drake. I caught this 5 1/2 pound rainbow trout on August 4, 2007 at Comins Lake near Ely, Nevada. I love fishing and have been out almost every day. Here is a picture of a double up catch. My wife Sue was using a small plug and caught fish on each hook. These were small wipers out at Lahonton Reservoir. - Mike Moore
The 2006/2007 waterfowl season was a productive one for Rick Welter shown here with a Canadian Honker, Mallard drake and Greenwing Teal drake he shot in December at Overton WMA. After three bow tags and ten years of applications, I harvested this heavy wide buck in area 18. He is 13 3/4 inches wide and green scores 75. Victory is sweet!

Talk about competitive, after Mike Ryle (left) set a new state record for wiper at 22 lb 3 oz 32 ¼ inches caught at Lahontan 6/30/07, the previous state record holder, Dan Hannum (right), went and reclaimed the record 7/15/07 with this 25 lb 6oz 36 ½ inch wiper also caught on Lahontan.

Rob Sutherland holds up his Nelson Bighorn Sheep that he harvested November 12, 2006 on Bare Mountain. The official B&C score was 170 7/8. When Ron and Janet Tolotti went to check on their dogs, they found this bobcat in the tree of their backyard in Reno.
We went to Trail Canyon Reservoir over the Memorial Day weekend. The weather was great as well as the fishing. The picture is of Jacob (8 years) and Lauryn (5 years) both of Las Vegas. - Picture submitted by Joe Lescenski. Here is Robbie Davison (left) and Lee Browne after a successful turkey hunt. Lee reports the Tom was taken at Panaca Summit on the second to last day of the pring season hunt. 17 yards, full strut in the snow, 7" beard.....beautiful!
Anthony M. Wesolowski shows off a brown trout he caught on the Nevada side of the Truckee River the first weekend in December 2, 2006 using 4 lb. test line on an ultralight setup. Daniel Wrenfrow with his father-in-law Pyke with Daniel's first ever sage grouse. They report that most of the work was accomplished by Pyke's black lab "Belle".
Perry Arbogast caught this 23-inch long, 5lbs 14oz Wiper in Southfork reservoir in Elko. We caught three that day over 5 lbs, this hog was the biggest. My son caught this just past the tires at Echo Bay, weight was 5lbs 11oz. on the large mouth and a couple of 3 pound plus stripers. - Greg Stephens
The Ferran Family (Miguel Sr., Lyana and their sons Michael and Steven) have been having quite a bit of success at hole 33 in the Upper Basin of Lake Mead. Miguel Sr. reports the fishing has been great over the last several weeks. The family has caught their limit on both trips and then continue to catch and release.

Stan with his first antelope taken on a depredation hunt in 073 in September 2006. The buck is 15 1/4 inches tall. This is 4-year-old Nathaniel fishing at Sunset Park in Las Vegas. He says he likes to fish because his Dad teaches him how.

James King harvested this 6x6 Bull in the Success Loop on August 30, 2006. It is his first kill with a bow. Rick Welter took a break from deer hunting last October and managed to catch a nice limit of Rainbow Trout in a little mountain lake near Currant.
Ryan Thomas, from Baker Nevada, caught this nice rainbow trout on Jan 27, 2007, at Commins Lake, in Ely Nevada. The picture was taken by Neal Darby. Mike Ferris pulled in this 11.12 pound striper at North Saddle cove at Lake Mead on December 1.
Rusty Ruby apparently does not believe in small fish. He shows off a 24-inch striper caught at Willow Beach on the left and a 22 pound striper caught on the colorado river on the right.
Here are some of the fish we caught at Wildhorse last Saturday (4/14/2007). We caught 10 rainbows and eight browns in two hours. The people in the picture are Todd Compston, Kinzie Compston, Roger Dutton and Canyon Dutton. Bob Omiecinski (right) shows off his 2006 bighorn sheep harvested on 11/28/06 after eight days of hunting in unit 272 with the help of his friend Bob Jensen (left). The ram was 12 years old and scored 168 7/8.

Robert Biggs shows off his first deer that he harvested in Mason Valley. My brother Eric Luzier and I hunted for 8 days before he harvested this 25 inch 3 point with his bow. I'ts an awesome feeling to stand next to your brother and watch him make a perfect shot at 30 yards.

My name is Jose, I caught this striper bass at Saddle Cove at Lake Mead. Here is my cousin Don and my nephew Neto at Calville Bay with a striper bass caught with anchovies. Way to go guys, when are we going again?
Debbie Anderson shows off a large cutthroat trout she pulled at Anderson Bay. She fishes almost every weekend with her dog Dakota. Richard Spelleri caught this brown beauty on the truckee on the east river using plastic minnow jig with rainbow colors.
Kelsey Gabrielson has been experiencing what Nevada has to offer, seen here with her lab Lucy with a mess of Catfish! When going after catfish, a good dog is always a plus! On the right she shows off her first Chukar! 1 for 50 shots . . . never felt so good!
This fish was caught Friday, January 5, 2007 at B-5 Pumphouse cove. It weighed 20.6 and was caught by Dean Bacon on a trout plug. Antoine Clayton pulled in this 10 pound, 24 inch large mouth bass at Floyd Lamb State Park on February 19, 2007. Seen here with his friend Joey Whitaker.
My fiance, Kristen, caught this beautiful rainbow March 16 at Commins Lake. The minute the bait hit the bottem her pole bent over. Funny part was, she was holding our 1 month old son while she reeled in this monster. - Randy Hegg Robert Biggs shows off a nice stringer of ducks that he harvested during the youth waterfowl hunt this year at the Mason Valley WMA with his dad Ed. This is his third year of hunting the youth hunt and he gets a little better at it each year.
