Eddie Booth

Commissioner

Sportsmen

Term End: 2026

Commission

775-304-2204

Eddie is a native Nevadan, born, raised and attended K-12 public schools in Washoe County, graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno. His experience in the great outdoors as an avid outdoorsman and sportsman was initiated as a young child with his family. This rich tradition has carried over to his own children. Eddie has been married for 42 years, with three adult children and four grandchildren. He has been a resident of Humboldt County since 1978, where he retired as a public school teacher/ coach/ administrator, assistant superintendent and currently is a licensed real estate agent. Each aspect of his professional career has prepared him for this opportunity to serve our great state of Nevada as a wildlife commissioner. His experience as a wildlife advocate has been demonstrated over the years as a community volunteer in a number of capacities, from Little League sports with his own children to Jr. Achievement in the Classroom, to supporting wildlife enhancement and conservation organizations through the Nevada Department of Wildlife Hunter/Angler education. There have been years of volunteer service with the Nevada Chukar Foundation, Nevada Muley’s, Chukar Chaser Foundation, NBU and Chukar guzzler crews, Sagehen and Sheep captures in Humboldt County and Chairman of the Humboldt County Elk Management Plan. His experience allows him to consider the values and interests of others and to be an empathetic listener to the people he represents.

Eddie is known to be a reliable, respectful person with the ability to relate to people of various ages, ethnic backgrounds and economic status.  These individual traits have been an asset throughout his career as an educator and a real estate agent. His experience and knowledge of Nevada, and Humboldt County in particular, has been learned in the field through trial and error or the privilege to have specialists present to share their knowledge with him, colleagues, family and friends.  Eddie is a person who works well with the public, evident by his friendly personality, commitment to excellence and dedicated work ethic. He is excited to use his  personal skills and lifetime experience to contribute to the goals of the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners.

Commissioner

Sportsmen

Term End: 2026

Commission

(775) 233-0264

Paul is a fourth-generation native Nevadan who loves spending time outdoors. His Grandfather started hunting in Nevada in the 1940’s and he has passed down the legacy of fall hunting trips. Since he was a kid, he has been hunting and fishing and has enjoyed hunting small and big game across the state of Nevada.

Paul grew up in Reno and graduated from Reno High School and the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Business Marketing and Management. Upon graduating, he went to law school in San Diego and subsequently returned to Reno to take the Nevada Bar Examination. After passing the Bar, he clerked for a Second Judicial District Court Judge.  He has served as a Deputy Attorney General at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and as a Deputy District Attorney in the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office. In 2017, he began working in the government affairs sector.

Prior to his appointment, he served on the Board of Directors of Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, Reno and has been involved in several guzzler builds and other habitat projects. Paul looks forward to working with all the stakeholders in protecting and enhancing Nevada’s wildlife resources for present and future generations.
