GIS & Data

Our GIS/Data Team collects, analyzes, and maintains the spatial and non-spatial wildlife resource data we rely on to make informed, science-based decisions for the successful protection, preservation, management, and restoration of Nevada’s wildlife and habitat.

The GIS/Data Team is also tasked with making this information available to improve the general knowledge of Nevada’s wildlife resources and increase the use of that information for the betterment of wildlife management throughout the State. Our publicly available data can be found on our Open Data Portal.

For data not found on our portal, please complete a Standard Data Request Form along with a shapefile/KML/KMZ of your area of interest and email ndowdata@ndow.org and someone from our team will be in touch.
