StatewideFree Fishing Day is your one chance during the year to get hooked for free! No fishing license is needed for adults or children on this date.
During our annual Free Fishing Day, anglers may fish in any public fishing water in the state without needing a fishing license or trout stamp. All limits and other regulations apply.

- When: 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Registration: Day of event on south side of Sparks Marina
- Eastern Nevada
- Where: Carlin Chinese Garden, Carlin and Comins Lake, Ely
- When: 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Registration: No registration needed before event
