Help us bring water to wildlife! Join NDOW, the Fraternity for the Desert Bighorn, and our local NGO’s in constructing guzzler builds around southern Nevada. Guzzlers are constructed to provide a reliable water source to wildlife in the most arid state in the nation. All guzzler builds listed are helicopter builds, meaning we will meet at the staging area then be transported via helicopter to the build site. Participants must be at least 16 years of age to board the helicopter. All tools and materials will be provided. Labor includes digging, leveling dirt, and team lifting. We will be replacing tanks, installing a new drinker, and removing old material. Bring plenty of water, food/snacks, and work gloves. Dress in layers, as the weather can be cold in the morning and warm up in the afternoon. Wear comfortable work/hiking boots, layers, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Locations are rural and may be in areas with little to no cell phone service.
