Las Vegas, NV – The Nevada Department of Wildlife is accepting applications for hunt reservations from those wishing to hunt opening day of the 2022 duck and goose seasons at the Key Pittman Wildlife Management Area or during the first two hunt days of the duck and goose seasons at the Overton WMA.

These reservation hunts will take place Oct. 15 at the Key Pittman WMA and Oct. 29 & 30 at the Overton WMA.

Hunters must complete and submit an official paper application that is available online at www.ndow.org or at the NDOW Las Vegas office, 3373 Pepper Lane. Completed applications must be delivered through a postal service to the NDOW Headquarters Office, Attn: Habitat Division, 6980 Sierra Center Parkway, Suite 120 in Reno. They are due no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 14.

A public drawing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sept. 28 at the same address. Successful applicants will receive their reservation confirmation by return mail.

To download a paper application, applicants must visit www.ndow.org. On the front page, move the cursor over Apply & Buy on the top menu. Then scroll over the hunting submenu and click on Waterfowl. Look for “WMA Hunt Applications and Draw Results.”

NDOW will begin taking reservations for the remainder of the waterfowl hunting season at the Overton WMA the Monday prior to opening day. Those reservations can be made via telephone from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The number is 855-542-6369.
